Results of ASICS Reading Half Marathon and other events.

The ASICS Reading Half Marathon was run for the 25th time on Sunday 25th March 2007. It was run in near perfect conditions and with huge crowds on the streets of Reading and in the Madejski Stadium. There was a real race with three runners contesting most of the race. Last year's winner Simon Kasimili (Kenya), Dan Robinson (Stroud) and John Nysenga (Burundi).
They all took turns at the front until Nyasenga dropped away with two miles to go. It was then between the other two who stayed in close contention right up to the entrance to the Stadium. As last year the fast finishing Kasimili then pulled away by 30 metres to win in 63:36 from Robinson 63:42 (his PB), Nyasenga 3rd in 63:52, Mark Miles 4th in 64:29 and Hugh Lobb 5th in 64:43.
